Highly recommended! Large portions with plenty of side dishes, even the kids liked it (!!!) The staff is very friendly and anticipatory, the order is quick and freshly prepared for pick-up. You get great food for your money. All thumbs up, absolutely 👍👍👍

Beautiful, welcoming ambiance. Easily accessible location with plenty of public parking nearby. Staff is informative and helpful, even in english! Dishes are priced fair with appropriate portions -(4 main dishes, 3 sushi rolls, 2 speciality drinks, 2 large water & 3 starter options = €80). Food presentations are 5 🌟 Excellent sushi. Menu has a great variety of options without being too overwhelming. Will definitely return.

I've ordered here several times (sushi to pick up) and today I was there on site. Sushi was great, very nicely presented and the soup was also very tasty! I'll be back!

The staff could be a little nicer. The ambience is very nice. There is a huge variety of food and the prices are reasonable. The food came very quickly and the presentation with the dry ice was spectacular. However, the sushi itself didn't taste as good as usual - but I can't say exactly why that was.

The food was delicious and the prices were relatively cheap. Because of the corona situation, you have to wear a mask when walking around and your hands are sprayed with disinfectant at the entrance. Unfortunately, the restaurant is completely full, which is why no table min. 1.5 meters to someone else's tables is not possible. I ordered tap water in addition to my food and drink and was allowed to pay € 2.60 for it as for a table water. Better think twice about coming back ...

We wanted to try it for a long time, now it finally worked. Without a reservation (with a bit of luck) I managed to get a table for 4 people on Sunday evening at 18:00 Service very nice and courteous, starters, main courses and desserts were all served very quickly, the espresso took a little longer for dessert, but we were immediately apologized. All dishes (starter platter, sushi and salmon) were really EXCELLENT. We had a wonderful evening and the price we paid in the end is ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE. We would like to come again.

Were there to try it out for the first time. We wouldn't go a second time. Food extremely attractively presented but quite expensive. And for such high sums you would expect perfection in full. Service ignores you. Drinks supposedly taken up, then again not. Ordered a second time, drinks then came. I then had to pay twice. Ordered dessert, unfortunately, and was offered an alternative. I should then of course pay for both desserts. Pure rip-off. Corona safety distance is actually no distance. You can make a lot of money quickly, but that's not all in elegant packaging.

The food was very tasty. Were also served very quickly. (Reservation of seats is an advantage) But apparently one should ask for the bill immediately after eating and not want to eat another dessert. We were not asked whether there should be something to drink, although we had been sitting in front of empty glasses for about 25 minutes. The dessert ordered was not available after a 35 minute wait. I had the impression that the manager was overwhelmed that evening.

Delicious Asian food with that special touch. We had three starters: deep-fried king prawns in sesame batter, summer rolls with prawns and egg and a miso soup. All three coordinated fantastically and made us greedy for the main course. That too was completely convincing. A vegetarian sushi selection including dry ice effect on the plate and mango-coconut stew with tofu - my fruity-exotic recommendation :) The restaurant is modern and tastefully decorated. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Every seat was taken and there was always a little queue in front of the shop. Make a reservation and if necessary adjust to a short waiting time - but it's worth it. Only our cocktail was delayed by almost an hour, but it was also delicious. Concerning. Corona hygiene regulations: staff always with correctly worn mouth and nose cover and hand disinfection for guests at the entrance. The distances between the tables are a bit tight.

First of all, I would like to mention that the food is very tasty and I'm subtracting two stars based on the current situation. There are still as many seats as before Corona and the prescribed distance between the tables is hardly observed. 80% of the staff wears the mask under their nose, tables have not been disinfected and placemats have not been changed. You could definitely do more here, especially if you run such a great restaurant.

Amazing food, great service. Has become very popular, so best times to go are lunch hours, right when they open for the evening, or way later in the evening. ALWAYS call to make a reservation ahead of time.

The food was super fresh and delicious and the clientele is wildly mixed - the staff is pleasant too. But the heat in there is unbearable in summer - even in the evening. The leather chairs don't make a positive contribution and the small air conditioner in the entrance just doesn't help. A professional air conditioning system is essential! Due to the current occasion: a distance of 1.50 is not maintained at a table in the shop in life.

Food is amazing, if you're looking for sushi with the experience. This is where to go.

This place is an asset to anyone who loves sushi. Food is freshly processed and requests are always met. We always like to come back. Reservation is necessary. The food can even be picked up and sneezed at home without any problems.

As always, this place keeps in line with their mindset of being great. Customer service is always friendly, food is always amazing. They aren't over bearing or bothersome, but always keep you well taken care of. I am a regular here, of course, and am always happy to give them my business. Prices are fair, drinks are amazing(favorite is ginger cooler). I will miss this place when I have to leave.

Food was great, great selection of food, nice atmosphere one of the best in the area. Would have gotten a 5 star, it just took so long before we got even a glass of water, and the price is a little steeper than other similar places. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

This place is not on the main walkways in Amberg but it's definitely worth your time to get there. I had two sushi rolls that were simply amazing and the Nigiri is excellent. A coworker had steak and it was presented on a wooden bowl that was simply amazing. If you are in Amberg and you want sushi get to this place as soon as possible. If sushi isn't your thing they have a menu that is probably 20 pages long that has many other great dinners to satisfy all customers. Highly recommended!

Great food really good, it was fresh and well prepared on the plates. Had to wait a little longer for our order to be accepted but it worked out. In terms of price, it is also acceptable. Clear fish or seafood are expensive but also fresh.

Best sushi restaurant for miles around! This place is delicious with fresh fish. The only downfall is that it’s packed every night of the week. So make sure you plan ahead with a reservation if you’re going for dinner!

We went pretty late on a Wednesday night thinking it would be quiet, but it was nearly standing room only. The vibe was good. My husband got the beef ramen and said it was soooooo delicious. The broth was 10 out of 10. I got the pan fried udon with chicken. It was only meh. Kind of soupy.

This place is great. The ambience is fantastic and super relaxing. The food is not single asian country specific, but multiple (Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean). The food is just amazingly tasty. The chef puts emphasis on presentation, so the meals look delicious. We will definitely come back here to eat again.

The restaurant is a little bit off the pedestrian zone in Amberg, but there are enough parking spaces directly in the street. The atmosphere is modern inclusive with an Asian touch. Many people from Vietnam work here, who are very friendly. The service is attentive and fast. The menu has a very large selection, which is also available on the Internet. The prices are moderate and for the top quality you get absolutely justified. I was very positively surprised and have not eaten Asian food so well in the area for a long time. Especially the Sushi is great! I am already looking forward to the next visit! Thanks again to the Cocoon Team, you do a very good job!

Favorite spot in Amberg! Must have reservations or cannot get a table, so worth it. Great vegetarian dishes, must try the mango stew, so delicious!!!

Had the cocoons mango koko stew, and by god I completely fell in love with this place. The atmosphere is great, the servers are amazing and speak wonderful English. The cocktails are perfectly made and of course this is a sushi restaurant, so the sushi is on par. All things considered, I highly recommend this place. However you do need to make a reservation so, call ahead of time. It's also very affordable and worth the price

For those who are stationed here and looking for good sushi, not the cat food kind they have in the stores, look no further! The easiest restaurant experience we've had in our two years here, feels like a restaurant back home. The staff is very friendly, they speak English very well among others, great atmosphere. Worth the drive from Hohenfels! Thank you!!
